Work-LifeMatters ™ Employee Assistance Program
Our employee assistance program is available through The Guardian. Confidential counseling is provided in areas such as coping with grief, parenting, adoption, child care, adult dependent care, college planning, relocation and many other life-changing events.
Educational Assistance
If you are a full-time employee with six months of service, you may be eligible to receive tuition reimbursement for continuing education through an accredited program that offers growth in an area related to your position or enhances your potential for advancement in the company.
Retirement Savings Plan
We understand how important it is for you to save for your future. The 401(k) plan is available to you for participation after 30 days of employment. The company matches 100% on the first 5% of your contributions and you will become vested in the company’s matching portion after five years of service.
Vacation
You may be eligible for 10 days of vacation annually after one year of service. Your vacation allotment increases as your service tenure with the company reaches key milestones. Because your vacation needs can vary from year to year, employees have the option to purchase up to 40 hours additional vacation time each year during open enrollment.
Holidays
We offer 11 paid holidays per year, including 3 "floating" holidays.
Medical & Dental
Choice and an extensive provider network are important when considering the right medical plan for you and/or your family. That is why we offer two premium healthcare plans, providing you the choice between an HMO or PPO through Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia and The Guardian. The company pays for the majority of your medical premium, and the employee contribution varies depending on plan selection and number of dependents covered under the plan.
Your dental benefits go beyond standard cleanings. In addition to maintenance, coverage for basic and major dental services is provided under the plan. Your medical/dental benefits are effective the second day of employment.
Prescription Drugs
Our prescription drug plan provides access to affordable prescription drugs. Generic brands are available through the plan at a nominal fee, while the cost of brand name drugs has been capped at a slightly higher amount. Mail order and bulk prescriptions are also available under the plan.
Healthcare and Dependent Day Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
The company offers a Flexible Spending Account that will provide you the opportunity to contribute money on a pre-tax basis to pay for unreimbursed health care and/or dependent care expenses.
- The health care spending account allows you to set aside up to $2,400 annually.
- The dependent care spending account allows you to set aside up to $5,000 annually
Short-Term Disability (Company Paid)
If you are unable to work due to a non work-related illness or injury, you may be eligible to receive 60% of your weekly salary for up to 13 weeks.
Long-Term Disability (Company Paid)
If you are unable to work due to a non work-related illness or injury, you may be eligible to receive 66% of your monthly salary if you are unable to return to work after a 90-day period.
Life Insurance (Company Paid)
At no cost to you, we provide life insurance protection for you and your family.
- You are covered for 2 times your annual salary, up to $100,000.
- Your spouse is covered for $5,000.
- Each child aged 14 days to 6 months is covered for $500 and aged 6 months to 19 years is covered for $2,500.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment (Company Paid)
Accidental death and dismemberment insurance pays benefits based on your annual base salary. The insurance plan can pay 2 times your annual base salary, up to a maximum payout of $100,000.
AFLAC
The Company offers the opportunity for you to purchase a variety of supplemental insurance policies. AFLAC is structured to provide cash benefits to you if you become injured or sick.
